Choose words from real situations

Prioritise vocabulary from emails, meetings, shipping, contracts, and internal notices. A useful deck does not need to be enormous; it should match the situations that appear in the exam.

Give every word a short meaning and a context sentence. The sentence can be simple, but it should distinguish the word from nearby alternatives.

Type the word from its meaning

Seeing a meaning and producing the English word forces you to retrieve both spelling and letter order. It is a more active check than simply revealing the back of a flashcard.

When you make a mistake, identify its form: a missing suffix, reversed letters, or a confused synonym. Naming the error gives the next correction a clear target.

Use context at the right moment

Do not reveal context immediately for every word. Attempt the answer first, and use the hint when you are choosing between alternatives or cannot recall the usage.

After the session, select the five most difficult words and write a new sentence for each. That moves practice from recognition toward use.

Keep the deck alive

Each week, separate words that have become automatic and add new vocabulary from practice tests. A good deck evolves with you instead of becoming a large archive that is rarely opened.
