Building a daily vocabulary habit
A short routine with a clear starting cue is easier to sustain than an ambitious plan.
Choose a consistent cue
Attach study to something that already happens: after dinner, before a livestream, or when you first open the computer. A stable cue reduces the number of times you must negotiate with yourself.
Set a small minimum
Commit to opening MindFocus and practising 10 words. You may continue once started, but ten is small enough to avoid pressure. A habit is built by returning across days, not only by the size of one session.
End with one note
Record the hardest word or the most interesting mistake after a session. This small note creates a bridge to the next visit and makes progress visible.
Do not overcompensate
If you miss a day, return with a normal small session. Trying to double the workload can turn one interruption into several days of avoidance.
