What to do with words you repeatedly mistype

Not every error has the same cause. Classifying it makes correction faster and less frustrating.

Identify the error type

Spelling errors often fall into four groups: missing letters, reversed order, confused endings, or recalling the wrong word. Look at the answer and name the error instead of retyping mechanically.

Break long words into rhythm

Divide long words by syllable, prefix, or suffix. Responsibility, for example, can be viewed as respons + ibility. The goal is to build a reproducible structure rather than memorising isolated letters.

Change the context

If you remember the meaning but choose the wrong word, add a sentence that highlights usage. Near-synonyms should have distinct contexts instead of sharing the same Vietnamese translation.

Create an error deck

After several sessions, collect the most frequent mistakes from your statistics into a small deck. A focused list of 10 to 20 difficult words is often more useful than reopening the entire original set.
