Cookies currently used by MindFocus

Essential cookies maintain login sessions, prevent request forgery, store language/theme choices, and provide a random device identifier used to deter mass registration. Some non-sensitive settings are stored in localStorage, including donation state, study settings, and the cookie choice.

Internal analytics

Version 0.1.6 sends operational events such as page views, aggregate active time, and link clicks to MindFocus's own server for the Developer Dashboard. This does not automatically load Google Analytics or require a third-party advertising cookie.

Optional advertising cookies

Google AdSense is disabled by default. Before personalised advertising is served where consent is required, MindFocus must configure an appropriate CMP and enable every safety gate.

Managing choices

You can delete cookies/localStorage in browser settings. Blocking essential cookies can prevent login, CSRF protection, abuse prevention, and preference storage from working correctly.
